Jeremy Bloom's Wish of a Lifetime (JBWOL) is holding an "Affair to Remember Sock Hop 2010" event to help celebrate the 85th birthday of Jeremy Bloom's grandmother, Donna Wheeler. The event will take place in two locations on the same day: Denver and Boulder.
The sock hop will be complete with music, dancing, and food. In Denver, the band "Swing Unlimited" will play music from the 1940s and '50s.
In Boulder, a 15-piece band "All Star Jazz" will provide some entertainment. Surprise guests, including an Elvis impersonator, will attend and Air Force military officers will dance with seniors. Twelve seniors will receive donated makeovers for the event through a random drawing. Life Touch Photography is donating photos and every senior will receive a picture at the end of the night; all seniors will also receive a free goodie bag to take home, and birthday cake will be served.

"An Affair to Remember" is possible because of the sponsorship of Brookdale Senior Living. Brookdale Senior Living is donating the spaces and all food for the event.
